Believe in the sun, even when it's not shining

In love, even when you're alone

In God, even when He is silent.

9.10.2011

While Lady had a conference with Lexie, Fynley and all of the cowbirds, the Tarpley crew took off to a riding lesson...

Rylie & Brittany helped Gracie tack up Frost...

Since Mrs. Robin was out of town with Miss Kacey at a horse show, Mrs. Lauren & Gracie broke all of the rules...mmm...we won't tell that Gracie rode through the barn on horseback :/

Our boys, Trashy & Romeo, having a morning snack together...

Gracie doing her thing!

Miss Kacey's boys, Donovan & Hampton, sharing a snack, too...a lazy Saturday morning around here for sure...all we need is some cartoons :)

Love it when she looks so proud of herself! <3

up and over...weeeeee!

who knew balance and trust exercises could be so fun!

A great lesson with Mrs. Lauren even though the heat has returned...thankful for last week's weather and praying some more shows back up soon...behind some RAIN! Enjoy your week! :)

My girl is GREAT!

Let me translate: When we play "Horsie", my name is Cream Pie. This is a note to Mommy/Cream Pie from her "Horse Instructor"/Gracie.
" I love you (as big) as the (w)hole sky and world. and my puppys and Dad. but you are the second because God is the first." Sweet, smart girl.

Fiddle Faddle

Well, despite the long weekend, we are officially back in the swing of school. Gracie loves her teacher, is enjoying being a big second grader (her favorite thing so far, besides the holiday!, has been reading for the Kindergarten & First Grade classes - she thinks she is big stuff!) and seems to be excelling in her school work. Below is her first test packet...looking good!

Another calf, Elly, was born to Cloudy & Dallas on August 19th.
She's a pretty little thing.

Also, our Lexie turned three on August 24th. She wanted nothing to do with her party hat or our peppermint treats, but we did sing to her and gave her lots of extra hugs :)

Bandit just keeps growing and seems to get sillier by the day...

...and he loves getting sugar from his pal, Fynley.

I know I said that I would try to blog more frequently...life just happens and some weeks just aren't very exciting :/ I'll keep trying. For now, I'm gonna try to nurse my sore throat and general funkiness back to health and keep praying for rain.
**God Bless all those affected by the wildfires.**
