Field Trip!

After our morning chores of feeding our stock, making beds and the like, we headed to Missouri City to visit Aunt Francie and Aunt Ruthie. Sadly, Aunt Ruthie has the same chest congestion/infection that Grace just got over, but she's on meds now and hopefully, it won't take three weeks for her to overcome it, too. Needless to say, she stayed in bed.

We did, however, have a great visit with Aunt Francie. She and Gracie crafted and read and colored and played while I completed some software updates for her on her computer. We went to lunch at La Escondida, a little Mexican restaurant there. Everything was really good and even their lunch portions were so large that we all will have dinner, too!

I didn't get any pictures - we were too busy visiting, but we really had a great day. The weather was perfect again, although it was a bit warmer today. Gracie took a short half-hour nap on the way home and now she's off and playing again. If only I had that little one's energy!

Well, I hope I can muster some because we're about to go move hay to our stables! Maybe I'll have some pics of that later!
